LOCAL CHELSEA SW3 & SW10 RESTAURANTS
Local take aways and restaurants
During the creative recording sessions, everyone needs refuelling with tasty food. Rest assured, there are wonderful options only seconds away from Joules Productions Studio doorstep.
Here is a list of local restaurants that will suit all dietary needs within SW3 and SW10:
Chelsea Bun (Cafe) (30seconds away): The menu is varied and extensive and the dishes are freshly made to order. They accommodate all customers’ requirements and are fantastic. This is one of my favourites and very close to the studio 1/2 a minute away.
Ranoush/Maroush (Lebanese 3minutes away): The cuisine of Lebanon epitomises the conventions of the Mediterranean diet. Common Lebanese dishes include an abundance of starches, fruits, vegetables, fresh fish and seafood. Poultry is consumed more often than red meat, and when red meat is used in food preparation, it is usually lamb.
Busaba (Thai - 1 minute away): Eathai is a fusion of the words eat and Thai. Differing from formal dining establishments, Eathai represents a Thai casual dining venue, offering a one-course dining experience devised to feed you with minimal fuss.
New Culture Revolution (Chinese - 3 minutes away): Welcome to the first Noodle & Dumpling Bar in London. Our mission is to produce the healthiest, highest quality food in London. "Our noodles are made fresh and exclusively for us. When we could not get good enough noodles in the UK, we sent someone back to Beijing to learn how they are made properly."
The Stock Pot (Italian - 5 minutes away): The Stockpot offers an extensive menu of traditional English and continental food at very reasonable prices. We have an extensive wine list. You can enjoy great, freshly cooked food served in a friendly atmosphere
Byron Burger (Australian - 5 minutes away): Really good burgers. The sides are at an additional cost, but overall still good value for money. Basic burger is £7...and tasty. Staff and service are OK...but this place is more about the food. Best burger we have tasted in a very long time. Nice area to watch the world go by. Would recommend and visit again.
Mona Lisa (Italian - 1 minute away): This is an inexpensive cafe that serves good, healthy sized portions of Mediterranean cuisine to eat in or take away. Chelsea is not exactly famous for cheap food but this place is a true gem. The take away sandwiches are amazing and most certainly won't give you wallet-ache when you get the bill. One of the compulsory ingredient for my sandwich is the mozzarella!
Blue Bird (Cafe/Restaurant - 2 minutes away): Once a magnificent art deco garage complex with links to speed racer Sir Malcolm Campbell (hence the name), this is now a multipurpose eating and drinking venue, part of the D&D London stable. Terrific pastry, a topping of hollandaise sauce and excellent pea shoot salad elevates a pea and leek tart above the usual ‘veggie option’. Sourdough bread from the in-house bakery is tremendous.
Big Easy (American Diner - 4 minutes away): Inspired by the 19th century crab shacks & Bar.B.Q of the American Gulf Coast, Paul opened the original Big Easy on the Kings Road 22 years ago. Offering a large slice of that easy-going living with live music, a friendly atmosphere and hearty portions of good ol’ home-style food we have become a much-loved local of choice for millions of Londoners and a fair few home-sick yanks.
Eight Over Eight (PanAsian - 20 seconds away): Following its sibling E&O, Eight Over Eight brings high quality, inventive Pan Asian food to Chelsea. Set in chic, comfortable surroundings, the restaurant and bar provide fabulous cocktails, friendly and knowledgeable service and an eclectic wine list. Eight Over Eight provides a complete dining experience in a vibrant environment.
Beaufort House (Cafe/Restaurant - 1 minute away): Beaufort House’s home-from-home atmosphere is everything you could possibly want from a restaurant, bar and private members club. Spread across four floors, each bar has its own atmosphere to suit your mood.
Sporting Page (Pub - 5 minutes away): Great local ails and cider on tap, as well as world known lagers. A great pub and country side feeling atmosphere with wonderful tasty food to suit all needs. Includes outdoor seating and heaters.
Cadogan Arms (Pub - 6 minutes away): Great pub, atmosphere and nice food. Good ail and lagers on tap and a pool table. Tasty pulled pork poutine, olives and cocktails are also available which is nice in a pub.
